Depending on what MDM solution you are using you may not have an option to sync all corporate contacts, or specific ones, to all your Android/iOS devices outside of your email. I specifically wanted these put in local contacts, but that is only synced from a users personal Outlook contacts.
The first challenge is creating a master CSV that you can use to import all the contacts. Thankfully Microsoft provides a template to get you started. You can find that here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/create-or-edit-csv-files-to-import-into-outlook-4518d70d-8fe9-46ad-94fa-1494247193c7
Next is filling out the information. I already had an excel document with everyone's name and cell phone number that got me started with easily copying/pasting those into the First name, Last name and Mobile Phone fields. I wanted to include everyone's email address as well without having to type it all out. Here is a nice way to do that quickly, but you may have to do some tweaks depending on how your company formulates their email addresses. I will provide a few options:
Our format is [email protected] so the formula in excel with this template is:
=B2 & "." & D2 & "@domain.com"
If you prefer all lowercase:
=Lower(B2 & "." & D2 & "@domain.com")
If your email format is [email protected] do the following:
=(LEFT(B2)&"."&D2)&"@domain.com"
Hopefully with that you can tweak the formula to your needs. Now to import that list and get it synced with your phone:
Save the CSV contacts list to your PC
Open Outlook and go to File and choose Open & Export
Click Import/Export and choose "Import from another program of file" and click Next
Click Browse and choose the saved attachment. In options you may choose to allow duplicates or not. Choose which option suits you best and click Next
Make sure the destination folder highlighted is "Contacts" near the top of the list and click Next
Click Finish
If you do not see the contacts shows up on your phone do the following steps on your phone:
Open Outlook, click the icon in the upper left and then click on gear icon on the bottom left
Tap your email address
Toggle Sync contacts and click Disable when prompted that it will removed Outlook contacts from your phone
Toggle Sync contacts again to re-sync contacts
Wait a moment and the new contacts should appear in the Contacts/Phone app
